HOLBERY / SYSTEMS / research toolkit v0.1

Daily close.
One clear routine.

Experimental resource. Not accounting advice, audited accounts, a revenue guarantee, or a support contract.

Before you start

Choose one responsible closer. Use whole IDR amounts. Store real records privately on your own controlled device. Do not enter customer names, phone numbers, or private business details into public GitHub enquiries.

Every open day

  1. Count completed services and enter the effective average net service price.
  2. Record opening cash, cash receipts, digital receipts, cash expenses, and actual closing cash.
  3. Calculate expected revenue = count × average net price; receipt gap = cash + digital receipts − expected revenue.
  4. Calculate expected cash = opening cash + cash receipts − cash expenses; cash discrepancy = actual cash − expected cash.
  5. Explain differences. Refunds, tips, discounts, owner withdrawals, staff commissions and credit sales require separate records and are outside this simple calculator.
  6. Record a next action. Review unexplained discrepancies; do not assume fraud or profit from a difference.

Weekly review

Track scheduled open days, complete closes, median closing time, unresolved gaps, support time, and one improvement action. Compare with your previous workflow; do not scale a process that adds more burden than value.

Files and boundaries

Daily/weekly CSVs are blank templates, not customer records. Calculator inputs stay in your browser and are not saved or transmitted by the application. No bookings, CRM, payments or tax reporting included. Paid delivery/support terms are pending owner approval.
